A giant rabbit that was re.scued from appalling circumstances is now looking for a devoted family.

The RSPCA recently sаvеd 47 rabbits from a dreadful situation in Ashington, Northumberland, England, including the enormous rabbit, which is around the size of a dog. After receiving calls from multiple worried individuals, the rеscuе organization dispatched an investigator. There, they discovered heartbreaking things.

Even though some of the animals were Flemish giants and the largest one that was sаvеd weighed about 18 pounds, the poor animals were kept in cramped cages. Unfortunately, some of them had so little room in their cages that they could hardly move. RSPCA inspectors claim that they were made fat so they might later be sold.

In a press release, RSPCA inspector Trevor Walker stated, “These unfortunate bunnies were living in crowded and unsanitary conditions which would have been quite unpleasant for them, especially in the heat.” Fortunately, a veterinarian discovered that they are all healthy; one of them is taking medication for weepy eyes and a cut on the back of his neck.

The rеscuе team was relieved to find that all of the rabbits were well following a quick trip to the doctor. They are all currently in the custody of the RSPCA and are eagerly awaiting adорtion by some sincere animal lovers.

Inspector Walker stated, “We hope they’ll find loving homes.” They have an excellent temperament, therefore they will make good companion animals.
