A strаy cat began loitering around Ida Floreak’s home about a year ago.
The fact that Floreak already owned a cat led her to the conclusion that it was her cat that was luring the strаy to her backyard.
The black strаy, whom Floreak called Salami, showed obvious affection for Floreak’s cat.
Salami kept returning to the yard to say hey despite the house cat’s obvious lack of interest in her as compared to her interest in him.
Salami, a kind strаy, started coming to Floreak’s house every day when she started leaving food out for him.
She would meow outside the door each morning to let us know she was there, and she would gladly receive the food for the day.
After a while, Floreak saw Salami was beginning to round out.
Salami was obviously pregnant, so it wasn’t only due to the free meals she was getting.
Floreak had been trying to gain Salmi’s trust ever since she began loitering in the backyard and making attempts to get close enough to the wary cat to trap her and take her to the vet.
Although Salami enjoyed all the free food she was receiving, she resisted letting Floreak get her close enough to catch her, despite the fact that she wanted to have Salami spayed and given a vaccination.
Salami then became pregnant.
