According to the blog ilovemydogsomuch, a dog named Tango endured horrific abuse after children strapped explosives to his back and set them off.
When he got to the hospital, he was in a condition of shock and could hardly open his eyes since the explosion had torn his poor little body to pieces.
Fortunately, he was now in the capable care of Viktor Larkhill, his group of rescuers, and their veterinarians.
He received immediate surgery to treat his injuries, and he recuperated for months in the hospital.
He was in pain for many weeks while he was healing, but he never gave up.
He had experienced terror, but all he wanted was love.
Tango now enjoys the unwavering love of his new, permanent family.
He is lavished with attention and has the opportunity to play and run around with his new canine siblings.
Finally living his life as it should be lived, he no longer allows his terrible past to dictate who he is.
Larkhill recently received a fantastic report from his new family, with whom he still maintains contact.
They have had Tango for a number of years, and he is doing very well!
