Depending on who you are, playing an impromptu babysitter can be fun or a nightmare. It’s hard enough with a human child but imagine a furry, four-legged one.
And I’m not talking about cats or dogs.
This is honeysada, a YouTube channel run by a nature-loving man and his pets. He uploaded this video of a mother deer and two fawns in his yard.
But that’s not all the camera caught.

Clearly, he gets regular visitors from the local wildlife. A mother deer and two nearly newborn fawns appeared in his yard.
All he expected was for the two fawns to learn how to walk before leaving with their mom. This wasn’t the case.
The fawns born were twins, but there was one thing that they weren’t totally alike in.
One of them had trouble walking.

While one fawn gets up and prances along with mom without a problem, the other one struggles to take even a couple of steps.
This isn’t good for a deer family, and mother deer respond to weak offspring in only one way.
She had to abandon it.
Knowing that this fawn would be too weak to survive along with her and the other one, she abandons it and leaves with the other twin.
