This is Belarus-a majestic fluff with a unique set of eyes
It is safe to say this adorable cross-eyed kitty has stolen our hearts from us. It’s only normal that thousands of people follow this beautiful, furry character on social media who is known for his love of troublemaking and shenanigans. He was adopted nearly two years ago by his owner Rachel when Belarus was 1. Rachel knew instantly that she was the one to take Belarus home as the minute she saw him, she fell in love with him.
Belarus was born with eyes crossed
Due to an eye condition called strabismus
His family has continued to support the shelter that this boy comes from since Belarus was rescued, and benefit other cats there. Through using Belarus ‘ now-famous face, Rachel is organizing fundraisers for the vulnerable animals. Rachel was able to donate $4000 to the shelter by way of multiple fundraising campaigns in 2019.
It is, however, nothing severe and doesn’t present any threat to the health of Belarus
Belarus is a very active and curious boy
By an eye condition called strabismus Belarus was born cross-eyed. Fortunately, the condition does not cause any pain or other health complications to this adorable critter nor is it affected with his vision.
One of the favorite activities of Belarus is in the shower, even when the water is on
“He is a very active and extremely curious cat,” Belarus’ owner told the media. “He loves to play with balls, twist ties, and almost any other small object he can get his paws on.”
