Thе Bеar Can`t Mơνе Aftеr Cơnsưming PsyсhеdеIiс Hơnеy

This hungry bear must have believed he had struck gold when he discovered a honey plantation in Turkey.

There were beehives after beehives full with that wonderful, golden delight, seemingly free for the taking. help himself? If he did, he didn’t care.

But the bear received more than he anticipated. This honey wasn’t your typical kind. And that had a really negative impact on him.

Turns out, the type of honey the bear is believed to have eaten is called deli bal — also known as “mad honey.”

The honey is produced by bees who collect pollen from specific flowers in the rhododendron family which are native to the region. For thousands of years, people have been harvesting “mad honey” for both its sweetness and drug-likе effects.

In smaller doses, it can create feelings of euphoria and even cause hallucinations. It is possible, however, to eat too much “mad honey.” And, from the looks of it, this bear did just that.

Fortunately, people found him and carried him to a vet for treatment:

The chances are that the bear wasn’t seeking an out-of-body psychedelic experience when he ate the honey; rather, he was only attempting to fill his stomach.

Fortunately, though, his unpleasant journey didn’t last indefinitely.

The bear’s misadventure was reported to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey, which stated:

He is in fantastic health, and our staff are still treating him.

The bear should soon be well enough for release, perhaps remembering to stay away from that specific honey farm on his future foraging excursions.
