People can’t tell the difference between this mini horse and a Great Dane because they have matching markings and are the same size.
Since the pair met in December 2020, Skye has had a crush on miniature gelding Hot Fudge Sundae, also known as Fudge.
The animals appear to be twins because they are the same height from floor to shoulder — 31 inches — and have nearly identical brown and white coloring. Skye, 1, and Fudge, 12, not only look alikе, but they also enjoy spending time together and hugging each other tightly.
“The most common questions I get about them are ‘which one is the horse’ or ‘is that a really big dog or a really tiny horse,’” the animals’ owner Ilonka, who lives in Texas, told SWNS.
“Skye has a very different relationship with Fudge and my other mini horses than I did with my first Great Dane,” the owner added. “She’s always looking for ways to spend time with Fudge, and they’re constantly playing or hugging each other. Skye adores him and longs to be in his company.”
Despite being the same height, the furry friends aren’t quite the same size. Fudge weighs over 180 pounds, while Skye tips the scales at about 108 pounds.
Skye and Fudge’s unusual friendship has attracted a lot of interest online, with videos of the pair gaining more than 2.4 million views.
