A weak cat was discovered in the middle of the road, prostrate and drowning, by Animal Aid Unlimited.
Her petite body was unharmed, and she wasn’t bleeding, but she appeared to have gone through a terrible trauma. No one was clear if she had fallen or been struck by a passing automobile, although it’s possible.
They sent her to the animal hospital with greater care than ever before, thoroughly examined her, and found no exterior wounds. She received pain relief from the rescuers, who also gave her a safe, spotless kennel to rest in.
They would have to wait to find out if she had any internal injuries that would result in her death.
But when they noticed that she soon perked up, opened her eyes, and began scanning her surroundings, their hearts leaped! Her interest was evidence that she still had life in her.
