When his adorable puppy Safira vanished from their house, a pet-dad in Ituporanga, Brazil, feared the worst.
After several days of looking, the puppy’s dad was getting anxious since it appeared that she had vanished without a trace.
On the third day, though, he eventually managed to find her after hearing her bark for assistance.
Unfortunately, there was still a long way to go.
Safira was left on a tiny, leaf-covered ledge approximately 80 feet below after falling down a 200-foot cliff about a mile from her house.
The pup’s life had been sаvеd by the ledge, but now she was stuck there with no means to escape.
The owner of Safira was extremely concerned about her wellbeing and safety and was at a loss for what to do.
He had no method of climbing down to the ledge and rescuing Safira, who had been stranded without food or drink for three exhausting days.
He called the fire department out of desperation, even though he was concerned they wouldn’t want to use their personnel and resources to sаvе a puppy.
There was no need to be concerned, however, since the Ituporanga Military Fire Department swiftly dispatched a team of firefighters to the area and was more than eager to assist in saving the life of an innocent puppy.
Rescue wasn’t simple. To reach the terrified puppy, they had to rappel down a high cliff, but after they had brought her to safety, there was no question that it had all been worthwhile.
Safira, despite being exhausted from her ordeal, couldn’t help but beam with gratitude and excitement as she quickly showered her rеscuеrs with kisses. She appeared unable of ceasing to give them kisses and express gratitude.
One of the rеscuеrs, Luis Fernando, said in an interview with The Dodo that they have previously been requested to sаvе pups and that “it is always worth our time.”
The fire crew received a heartfelt thank you from Safira’s pet dad, who is happy to get his precious daughter back.
She is now secure, content, and in good health, and she will undoubtedly always cherish and cherish the heroes who sаvеd her life.
