Every spring, Buttons the deer takes her young to visit G-Bro, a Golden Retriever who has been her best buddy for 11 years. Lorrie and her family were thrilled when Buttons brought her newborns into their home for the first time.
G-Bro treated the newborn deer with such tenderness and love. He played with them and groomed them. The Golden Retriever acted as a second mother for his best friend’s lovely puppies.
Buttons sends her offspring to visit every year, which astounds and makes Lorrie happy. She is aware that G-Bro and Buttons are in a special circumstance. They are kin to one another.
G-Bro and Buttons had grown up together, and their friendship had always been exceptional. G-Bro will sit down and allow her to clean him because he enjoys being pampered by her.
To allow himself to be groomed by Buttons, he even diverts her attention from her infants. Buttons will notify Buddy that she is at their home by appearing at the front door.
If they take too long opening the door, she may even prod it with her hoof. G-Bro and Buttons enjoy going on hikes and having snowball fights together. They are content as long as they are together.
