Blue is a pit bull mix that has been missing from his Tennessee home for several months. His father looked everywhere for him, but he had to move to Texas, fearing he would never see his beloved buddy again, until a friend saw his ad in a shelter, writes animalz-online.
The Washington County, Tennessee Animal Sanctuary in the United States received a call in the beginning of April. No one knew how long the dog had been wandering the streets, but he appeared to be friendly to people until he apparently showed up at someone’s house in need of shelter.
Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the sanctuary was forced to seal its doors to the general public and only allow visits by appointment. Due of this situation, Blue had to stay in the area for months before being found.
What a genuine blessing it was for his father, who never gave up looking for him and was finally reunited with his loyal friend, writes pawmypets.com
To introduce Blue to potential adopters, the shelter created a video and posted it to Facebook; surprisingly, one of the comments stated “that’s my dog,” so the only thing left to do was determine whether the man was telling the truth.
Tammy went on to say,
When we first approached the owner, he responded, “Yes, I have visions of my dog. He showed us photos of Blue playing with the same blue ball, which was his favorite toy, at his home. He was insane.
It had been a long time since he had seen his pet, and the emotional reunion could not have been more intense as the thrilled man glanced at the 1,200 miles it would take to get there.
It was evident that the dog and that person had established a relationship, the lady continues. Blue was startled for a moment and said aloud, “Am I seeing points?” Following that, nothing but kisses could be heard.
