Meet Champ, a wild stallion who has shown how compassionate and unselfish some animals can be.
He lives in Arizona’s Tonto National Park, where the astonishing episode occurred; luckily for us, it was captured by a Park Service Volunteer named Becky Standridge.
“Champ and his family were grazing along the Salt River’s banks when another team of horses appeared on the opposite bank.”
“Among the other group were two rambunctious colts.”
” Champ and his family grew interested in the other horses.”
“She was dragged under the sea and panicked to the surface!”
“He was able to grip her by the back of her neck this time.”
