Wounded veteran selected his service dog to be best man at his wedding.

The puppy had done so much for him, therefore it was only natural for the dog to be present on the most important day of his life.

That is correct, and what a handsome best man! Congratulations!
Justin Lunsford and his love, Carol Balmes, were getting married. Justin, like many men, wanted his best friend to be the best man at his wedding. It wasn’t even a contest as to who would play that part; he chose his service dog, Gabe.

That is when Justin met Gabe, the two-year-old service dog. They quickly became friends, writes pawmypets

Justin stated, “He helps me with one thing after another.” If I fall, he’ll come up to me and I’ll be able to utilize him to push myself up off the ground.

Justin had been dating Carol for a while before proposing in 2014. He chose to propose to her on Veterans Day, and Gabe even assisted with the proposal.

Justin and Gabe work side by side to socialize the canines before they go to their projects and future homes.

We’re delighted he was able to be a part of such an important day in Justin’s life.

Congratulations on your great marriage, remarkable puppy. The Best … Love without conditions. Congratulations and best wishes to you and your bride.

Dogs are incredible animals, and this is very sweet…! Thank you for making your treasured pet your best man. God’s blessings on you.
