During a Sunday, August 11 interview on ABC’s “This Week” with Jonathan Karl, Sen. JD Vance, who is running as former President Donald Trump’s 2024 running mate, responded to аttасks on his wife, Usha Vance. He dismissed these аttасks as racist and baseless, suggesting they come from individuals who are less attractive than his wife.

Vance agreed, acknowledging the racism of the comments. Karl then noted that Fuentes had dined with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago during the campaign, suggesting a connection to Trump. Vance defended Trump, stating that Trump is uninvolved with and uninterested in such matters. He emphasized his admiration for his wife, calling her both beautiful and intelligent, and asserting, “What kind of man marries Usha? A very smart and very lucky man.”

When Karl continued to press the issue, Vance reiterated that while criticism of his policies is acceptable, аttасks on his wife are not. He stated, “If people want to challenge my views or personality, that’s fine, but they shouldn’t аttасk my wife. She’s out of your league.”
