Gavin Newsom gets put on the spot, to his face, about the costs of things. One of the reporters specifically called out Newsom to his face. Newsom also faced criticism for his failing attempt to fix homelessness. At one point California had spent billions trying to fix the homelessness issue, but they eventually lost track of the progress or were unable to see if the money spent was effective. It was basically a case of poor record keeping and accountability. In other words, what did they even spend the money on?
